The ICS Education Committee recently hosted a joint Education Course with the Argentine Urological Society- Sociedad Argentina de Urología SAU in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The ICS were represented by Werner Schaefer, Howard Goldman and Beth Shelly.
Dr Werner Schaefer presented on the topics; urodynamics, OAB and SUI. Dr Howard Goldman presented on topics concerning surgical and medical management and Beth Shelly presentation focused on Conservative management.
Approximately 115 participants attending the 4 ½ hour lecture on BPH and OAB, female stress UI and post prostatectomy UI. The presentations were well received and the question and answer periods provided an opportunity for further learning for the participants involved.
