Aims and objectives of this workshop
- To understand the definition, pathophysiology and clinical presentation of an overactive pelvic floor (OPF) and its relation to chronic pain conditions and psychosocial issues.
- To carry out the evaluation of patients with OPF using a multidisciplinary approach and to become acquainted with common diagnostic techniques and tools.
- To plan an individually tailored treatment strategy for patients suffering from OPF and OPF-related conditions.
