Following on from last years introduction, the ICS Ethics Committee are pleased to confirm that the “Best Ethics Presentation Award” will be available at ICS 2017. This award recognises the best presentation in the Ethics category at the annual meeting and carries a monetary prize of €500.
Applications can include:
- case presentations that highlight an actual ethical dilemma occurring in daily practice with discussion regarding resolution of the issue
- all submissions dealing with research and health care ethics.

This award is open to all ICS 2017 abstract applicants but we are particularly keen to receive applications from students, fellows or junior faculty who have not previously submitted an abstract to the ICS.
Participants who wish to enter the competition should select the “Quality of Life/Ethics” category when submitting their abstract. The best presentation within this category related to Ethics will receive a cheque for €500 and a certificate at the ICS 2017 closing ceremony.
