The Ethics Committee has openings for a scientist and a nurse. If you have any education, experience or interest in biomedical ethics and wish to serve on the committee, please submit an application as soon as possible.
The committee’s work primarily involves educational activities such as an annual workshop and sponsored activities at the annual meeting such as last year’s debate, developing white papers on controversial issues in medical and research ethics as well as assisting the Board of Trustees with establishing and implementing policies dealing with conflicts of interest. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve the ICS, enhance your CV and interact with a group of dedicated colleagues.
