There’s bittersweet news from the ICS Office this month as Tracy sets off on her retirement.
Tracy Griffin joined the ICS Office as an Administrator back in 2011 and has been a stalwart of the ICS ever since, going on to add Membership Secretary to her role soon after starting. During her decade-plus career with the ICS, Tracy has been a part of 13 annual meetings, from Glasgow (ICS 2011) to Toronto (ICS 2023), where she was enduringly a friendly face on the booth, welcoming thousands of members and delegates over the years.
One of Tracy’s favourite parts of her role has been looking after ICS Awards. She shaped the Observerships programme and supported close to 100 fellows on their professional journey – from application through to placement and beyond, assisting with any queries or concerns with an abundance of kindness.
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Tracy for her exceptional help and unwavering support throughout the entire process. Her incredible empathetic approach made a significant difference”.
Amanda Amorim, Physiotherapist Fellow, 2023
Tracy will be missed greatly and, along with the rest of the ICS, we wish her all the best for her retirement, full of quality family time and plentiful happy travels!
