As the year comes to an end, we are looking back on the 2023 highlights for ICS.
Everyone will likely agree that a particular highpoint of this year was the annual meeting in Toronto, with our first entirely in-person meeting since 2019 and over 1,400 delegates joining us from around the world. A huge thank you to all who took part in the planning of the meeting; the Local Organising Committee, Scientific Committee, Education Committee and Kenes International; and to all speakers, industry members and delegates who attended the event, helping to make it so successful.
2023 saw the publication of the long-awaited ICI eBook; the first full year of the new ICS Journals, Continence and Continence Reports; and multiple publications by the ICS committees.
It has also been a remarkable year for ICS podcasts, thanks to Shannon Wallace for all her dedication and hard work implementing monthly new episodes, and to all who have contributed to the sessions. The ICS Global Pelvic Pain Exchange Programme was another standout success of 2023, with Elise De and the ICS Working Group achieving two series of collaborative case discussions on various pelvic pain topics.
The ICS Board of Trustees and Office sends warm festive greetings to all our members and supporters. We sadly lost key members of ICS in the past months and our thoughts will be with their family, as well as with those members who have recently lost a loved one.
The Office will be closed for the Christmas and New Year break from Friday, 22nd December, 2023, and will reopen on Tuesday, 2nd January 2, 2024. During this time, we hope you enjoy a peaceful break and a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.
