The new global programme that brings you collaborative case discussions on a series of topics related to pelvic pain.
The ICS Working Group, led by Elise De, hosts monthly online sessions which are designed for the educational and collegial needs of multidisciplinary pelvic health groups serving patients with pelvic pain around the world. These seminars are therefore beneficial to all pelvic health professionals, including Urologists, Gynecologists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Radiologists, Neurologists, Interventional Pain Specialists, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physicians, Rheumatologists, Psychologists, Basic Scientists, Colorectal Surgeons and more.
Background
The programme grew out of a workshop at ICS 2022 in Vienna, where the team were inspired by the energy of the collaborative work coming from everyone being together again, and has evolved to become the ICS Global Pelvic Pain Exchange Programme.
Artem Loktev, a member of the Working Group who has been along for the journey, shares his experience:
“I have learnt many new things about management and treatment of patients with pelvic pain, dysfunctional voiding, and incontinence.
