Since its inception in 1971, the ICS's founding aim was to bring together a diverse group of clinicians and scientists with interest in all different aspects of incontinence and continence with the aim to share professional and diverse knowledge and experience. Now 50 years on the ICS is still the meeting place for all the professionals working in the field of continence and related issues: urologists, gynaecologists, colorectal surgeons, nurses, physical therapists, basic scientists and physiologists.
Because the research and treatment of pelvic organs and pelvic floor dysfunctions involves everyone!
Are you thinking about attending ICS 2020? Hear from our key members why you should attend!
Nikolaus Veit-Rubin states that 'ICS is the society for multi-disciplinary assessment of the pelvic floor. No other society offers the chance to learn from other specialists that may enforce your personal approach to PF diseases in your patients.'
As well as an excellent scientific programme, the ICS annual meeting provides delegates the opportunity to network with international professionals within the field of continence.
