URODYNAMICS IS AS RELIABLE AS THE PERSON THAT REPORTS THE RESULTS

Reading urodynamics requires expertise and experience. Not different from reading radiologic images or laboratory results. Urodynamic traces represent the physiology of the lower urinary tract, independent from the expressed symptoms and or clinical impression of the pathophysiology present in the patient with symptoms and signs of lower urinary tract dysfunction. This objectivity is not really different from imaging or laboratory results in other types of disease or dysfunction. Urodynamics is performed by skilled experts, according to standards, and evaluated and reported in a standard fashion, not different from radiology or laboratory practice.
The urodynamic diagnosis is the basis for the counselling of the patients with regard to the –personalised- specific pathophysiology leading to the symptoms. This practical course teaches you to read urodynamic traces, recognise a large variety of urodynamic patterns and how to integrate the test results into a urodynamic diagnosis that reflects the functions and dysfunctions of the specific patient.
You will improve your skills in systematic analysis and reporting the urodynamic test.
