The focus of the workshop is for six delegates (young surgeons) to receive hands on surgical training on pelvic floor reconstruction. The workshop is open to all international delegates with a preference for trainees and residents in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive surgery and/or Male Urology and those working in developing and resource-constrained countries. Delegates must be ICS members.
A full multi-disciplinary team will teach various surgical techniques. Please note that all workshop lectures and material will be in English. There are NO course fees.
Applicants are requested to complete an application form and return it to the ICS office along with their CV (resumé) and a letter of status confirmation. All applications will be reviewed by the ICS Education Committee. All candidates will be contacted with the results by May 30th 2014.
The selected candidates are expected to make their own travel arrangements to arrive in Oporto and to the hotel. The candidates are required to cover their accommodation for the nights of 18/19 August 2014. Note: Visa requirements and costs are to be arranged by the candidates. Letters of invitation can be requested from the ICS and the local organisers.
