Dr Starzec-Proserpio is an experienced women's health physiotherapist, researcher, and educator with a wealth of international experience gained in Poland, the Czech Republic, Norway, Spain, and Canada. Serving as an assistant researcher and lecturer at the Department of Midwifery, Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education in Warsaw, Poland, she imparts her expertise through advanced postgraduate courses for medical professionals while actively engaging in research within the pelvic floor field. In 2022, she joined the Pelvic Health Research Laboratory, led by Professor Melanie Morin at the University of Sherbrooke Research Center. Conducting her postdoctoral fellowship there, she focuses on advancing knowledge in the field of pelvic floor imaging, chronic pelvic pain and female sexual dysfunctions. Her contributions to science include numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations, including invited talks.
